The Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management has been designed for individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

Sydney State College (SSC) has the following entry requirements:
International students must:
• Be at least 18 years of age and have completed the equivalent of Year 12.
• Have an IELTS* score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:
• Successfully completed a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO: or
• Successful completion of an English Placement Test
*Note that other English language tests, such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. Students are required to provide their results so that it can be confirmed they are equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
Course Specific Entry Requirement:
In addition to above student must:
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
Or
Have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

Assessment methods used for this qualification will provide a range of ways for individuals to demonstrate that they have met the required outcomes including:

At the beginning of each unit, trainers will outline the assessment tasks that must be completed.
